An elderly Innisfil man has been charged in connection to allegations of child sexual assault dating back to the late 70’s. In late September, South Simcoe Police arrested a 73-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting three female victims, aged six to eight, over this past summer. During their investigation, police say three more victims came forward, with allegations that date back as far as 1977. As a result, the man was arrested again, and now faces six counts of Sexual Assault, five of Sexual Interference, and one of Indecent Assault on a Female. He is being held in custody until his day in court.
