Jays Came Close
Game 7 was just a hit away
A gutsy comeback attempt by the Jays last night in Kansas City. A Jose Bautista two-run bomb tied the game 3-3 in the top of the 8th inning. Then, down a run in the 9th, they stole three bases and had runners on second and third with none out in top of the 9th. But, as happened so many times in the playoffs, they were left stranded. Royals won the game 4-3, took the series 4 games to 2, and move on to the World Series against the New York Mets. It starts Tuesday.
