Kudos To The Kids At A Local Elementary School.
They Prove It Can Be Done
The grade 4 and 5 students at Rama Central Public School have won themselves a couple of National awards. The kids at were handed the Jack Layton Award for Youth Action in Sustainability for their Orphaned Wildlife Food Drive and they also picked up the Learning for a Sustainable Future… That award gives them 2-thousand dollars….
They already have plans for the money… they plan on building sleeping boxing for bats, birds, squirrels and opossums who are being rehabilitated.
The awards were handed out on January 14th.
