Lady Gaga brought two new tracks, “A-Yo” and “Million Reasons,” off of her newly released album, Joanne, to the Saturday Night Live stage this weekend for a pair of performances that brought the house down.  Backstage, however, the singer was getting some support and love from her future A Star Is Born co-star, Bradley Cooper.  “LOOK who showed up to watch me perform!” Gaga captioned an Instagram pic she snapped with the four-time Oscar nominee. “What a guy. Talkin’ creative and enjoying some backstage fun.”  SNL’s episode featuring Lady Gaga as the musical guest drew in the highest ratings of the season, & the highest October ratings since 2008.

The evening was filled with jokes about Bill…There were plenty of laughs at Murray’s expense in evening that took on the tone of a gentle roast. Jimmy Kimmel, Aziz Ansari, Sigourney Weaver and Steve Martin were among those who ribbed Murray for being aloof, unpredictable and difficult to reach — and somehow still lovable.  After getting his break on “Saturday Night Live,” Murray went on to star in some of the most successful comedies of the 1980s and 1990s before transitioning into more dramatic roles. He was nominated for an Oscar for his soulful turn as a washed-up actor in Sofia Coppola’s “Lost in Translation.”
