Lady Gaga visits a homeless shelter in New York and it was wonderful.

Yass kween.

Lady Gaga went to Harlem earlier today to visit a homeless shelter for LGBTQ youth and she didn’t go empty handed. Gaga rolled up with a mountain of gifts for all of the folks living at the shelter and took time to speak to them about her own person trauma that she lives with everyday.

“I told the kids today, ‘I suffer from PTSD.’ I’ve never told anyone that before. So here we are. But the kindness that’s shown to me by doctors as well as my family, and my friends, it’s really saved my life.” Gaga even worked in an acoustic performance whole she was there.

The shelter is called Ali Forney Center and they say that:

“80 percent of the youth there are kicked out of their homes because of their sexuality. The rest run away because of neglect, abuse, rejection, or a combination of those.”
