Five Year Lake Improvement Plan Showing Signs of Success

It looks like a five year plan to fix Lake Simcoe is working. Today the province released a five year report that indicates the health of the lake is improving. Ontario launched the Lake Simcoe Protection Plan in 2009, in an effort to reduce phosphorus pollution and improve water quality. The report indicates not only have phosphorus levels improved, but native fish populations have shown signs of recovery.
