The Tweets were filled with highly-offensive and racist messages online surrounding the release of her new movie, an all-female reboot of 1984 classic Ghostbusters. A number of celebrity friends and fans, including model Chrissy Teigen and original Ghostbusters star Dan Aykroyd, spoke out in support of Leslie, while Twitter bosses took their own action by banning one reporter the actress had accused of inciting the racial hatred. However, Leslie couldn’t stay away from Twitter for too long, as she logged back online on Thursday.

Toronto Animal Services sent a letter to Justin Bieber warning him that it’s illegal for exotic wild cats to enter city limits.
Activist group PETA also slammed the singer and the Bowmanville Zoo, which provided the gravely endangered tiger.
No reputable animal-care facility lends out exotic animals for private parties and backstage Instagram photos,” PETA said. “PETA hopes the authorities’ warning to Justin Bieber will remind people everywhere that lions and tigers are sensitive living animals, not selfie props.”
