Local YMCA Takes Part In Giving Tuesday
Helping families in need
From Black Friday to Cyber Monday to Giving Tuesday (#GivingTuesdayCA). Charities across North America are hoping to inspire people who have spent a couple of days making purchases for themselves and family to consider giving back to the community today – either through a donation or volunteering. The Simcoe Muskoka YMCA is in on the movement, hoping to raise $7000 to help support its programs for families who need a helping hand. Adam Brown, the Y’s Coordinator of Events and peer-To-Peer Support, outlines the program in more detail:
