The Barrie Police Service say the cash has been returned to its rightful owner.

Barrie Police are looking for the owner of an envelope full of cash found last Thursday (September 6) near Shirley Street North.
Anyone claiming the cash will have to provide the following:
- How much was lost and what denominations
- The exact time and place you noticed the money was gone
- Any identifying marks on the envelope
- Your name and contact information
