UPDATE: Man Pulled From Water Sunday In Shanty Bay Identified
Had been working underwater
Jan 5th – The OPP have identified the man pulled from the waters as as 55-year-old Robin Clark of Oro-Medonte. An autopsy determined drowning as his cause of death.
Jan 4th – Oro-Medonte firefighters were called Sunday afternoon to an underwater rescue in Shanty Bay. Fire Chief Hugh Murray says the man had been working on an underwater pump or piping off Forrester Road. Two firefighters suited up and pulled him unconscious from the water. CPR was administered and the man taken to hospital where he has since died. OPP continue the investigation.
