Man Suffering Axe Wound To Leg Shows Up At Police RIDE Check

Man Injured Himself While Cutting Wood

An interesting RIDE stop for South Simcoe Police. Over the last two days police say they’ve stopped 550 vehicles in Bradford and Innisfil during RIDE checks, but only one involved a guy with an axe wound. Police say they were approached by a guy who injured his leg while chopping wood, and police were able to patch him up right then and there. Aside from that, no DUI charges laid among all those vehicles stopped, but police say four WARN suspensions were handed down, along with a possession charge.
