Michelle Obama’s Special Gift for the Queen on her 90th Birthday
What do you give a lady who has EVERYTHING... (literally!)
The U.S. President and First Lady are in London today for the Queen’s 90th birthday. While Michelle is known for her taste and style, there’s no doubt that selecting a gift for the woman who has everything (…literally!) presented quite the challenge.
Michelle arrived with a box wrapped in gold, with the president’s seal on it. Inside was a photo album chronicling the Queen’s visits with U.S. Presidents and First Ladies, symbolizing the good relations between the U.S. and the U.K. over the years.
Tonight the President and First Lady will meet the next generation of royals for a dinner at Kensington Palace.
