Midland Police Tase Domestic Assault Suspect

Long List of Charges Stemming From Domestic Incident

Midland Police had to use a taser after reports of a domestic assault. They got the call last Monday night, around 11:30, from a woman claiming she was hiding from her boyfriend in the closet, saying he was out of control and armed with a broom handle and bottle. Police say they found the 23-year-old suspect hiding behind the couch, covered in blood, and demanded he come out and show them his hands. He allegedly refused, instead laughed at officers and began walking towards them. After a few warnings, police say they shot the guy with a taser and took him into custody. The Midland man is facing a long list of charges including Assault with a Weapon, Forcible Confinement, and Obstructing Police.
