Ottawa Judge Dismisses All 31 Charges Against Duffy
The verdict is in on the Mike Duffy trial. The embattled senator has been found not guilty of all charges in an Ottawa courtroom today. The judge said he didn’t agree that Duffy misrepresented or omitted information during the trial, calling him an “overall credible witness.” Duffy went into the courtroom facing 31 charges of fraud, bribery, and breach of trust, and walks out a free man. He can now choose to go back to work in the senate.
