Mila Kunis says ‘Mommy and Daddy May Have a Dollar, But You’re Poor’

Why Mila and Ashton refuse to raise entitled kids

With a 22-month old daughter and another child on the way, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have taken on their new roles as parents.

While both stars have made millions through their acting roles and through their investments, Mila and Ashton refuse to raise entitled children.

When talking to an Australia’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show, she said, “The one topic of conversation we had even prior to ever having kids was always, ‘How do you raise a child to not be an a——? It’s so important because we both came from pretty solid poverty backgrounds and grew up very poor and are very much self-made and are very aware of what a dollar is worth,” she adds. “Nothing’s been handed to us.”

While their daughter Wyatt is still too young for serious life talks, Ashton and Mila have a plan of action. “It’s a matter of teaching them from a very early age that, you know, ‘Mommy and Daddy may have a dollar, but you’re poor,’ ” she said. ” ‘You are very poor, you have nothing. Mommy and Daddy have a bank account.’”

How do you teach your kids hard work ethic?
