A toddler was sent to hospital with a concussion after a crash that saw both drivers charged. Around 10:30 Monday morning, Barrie OPP say a transport truck and pickup truck collided at the intersection of Old Barrie Road and Line 7 of Oro Medonte. The driver of the big rig, a 58-year-old Brampton man, was charged with Failing to Yield. In the pickup were two children, aged two and three, and a 31-year-old woman. The two-year-old was taken to hospital after police say they struck their head on the truck window after not being secured properly. The driver was charged with failing to ensure the toddler was properly secured in the vehicle.
