Military Police Officer Facing DUI Following Angus Crash
Bystanders Held Suspected Drunk Driver Until Police Arrived
A crash in an Angus parking lot has lead to drunk driving charges against a Military Police officer. Nottawasaga OPP got the call to the Shopper’s Drug Mart parking lot around 10:30 Sunday morning, with reports of a two vehicle crash. When officers got there, they discovered a few witnesses had detained a driver at the scene til police arrived, claiming they could smell booze on her breath. A 38-year-old woman from Quebec, at Base Borden for training as a Military Police officer.
