Millennials Falling For Scams More Than Seniors

BBB study refutes popular notion

Seniors are getting it, apparently its millennials who can’t resist the too-good-to-be-true offers made by scammers – contrary to popular thought. A Better Business Bureau survey finds only 11 per cent of seniors are being duped, compared to 34 per cent in the 18 to 24 age bracket. One popular con includes people creating fake messages from reputable companies like Netflix, Apple and Microsoft. Fraudsters ask users to update their financial information with these companies, but in reality, their information is being stolen.
