UPDATE: Missing Midland Woman’s Body Located

Foul Play Not Suspected

Nov. 18th – The Midland Police Service reports it has located the body of Eva Rozitis at Awenda Provincial Park. While the cause of death is not yet known, police say foul play is not suspected.


Nov. 16th – OPP are searching for a missing Midland woman. Twenty-six year old Eva Rozitis was reported missing early Tuesday morning. Her car has since been found in Awenda Provincial Park; police have determined it was parked there late Monday morning. The OPP Emergency Response Team with the help of the OPP helicopter, Marine Unit and front line officers has been searching the park. A local volunteer group is also helping. Rozitis is described as:

  • white
  • 5′ 10″
  • slim build
  • blonde hair
  • blue eyes
  • was wearing a dark coloured shell jacket, yoga pants and black and purple-coloured hiking boots

Police are concerned for her well-being as she is required to take medication on a daily basis.
