Mission Impossible Movie Halts Production In Italy due To The Threat Of Coronavirus

This mission may actually be impossible

Paramount Pictures has decided to stop production on Mission Impossible: VII starring Tom Cruise in Venice, Italy as a coronavirus outbreak continues to spread across parts of the northern country.

The movie, which is the seventh film in the franchise, was meant to shoot in Venice for three weeks.  As of Monday, more than 220 people in Italy have been infected.

The lates Mission Impossible movie was scheduled to hit theatres on July 23rd 2021.  It’s unclear if the delay will impact the release. 

There are more than 79,000 confirmed cases and at least 2,621 deaths across the globe from the virus as of Monday.
