Mock Code Silver Exercise at RVH Today
Gunshots Will Be Heard At Hospital As Part of Exercise
You’re going to hear gunshots at RVH today. A training session at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie this morning, to test out what’s known as a Code Silver, the term used to describe someone with a gun in the hospital. Staff and police will be conducting a mock exercise at the hospital this morning, using blanks that sound a lot like the real thing. It is a closed off exercise, the public isn’t allowed to watch, but the whole show should be done by noon today.
