Municipalities Waiting To Hear What The Election Holds For Them
Many expensive promises; no mention of help for cities and towns
Tax breaks…lower gas prices for voters…
Innisfil’s Deputy Mayor (and President of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario) says she’s waiting to hear what provincial party leaders will do for municipalities. She notes – in a Globe and Mail election comment that municipalities often have to bear the costs of provincial and federal party promises…or pass them on to property owners.
