I’m about 4 weeks into a customized workout routine at Barrie’s YMCA and in that time I’ve been using their indoor running track and my wife and I brought our 1 year-old for his first swim during their open family swim session. He was all smiles in the pool which was awesome!

A YMCA Membership allows you to receive all kinds of personal guidance from an experienced Wellness Coach, which made me feel way more comfortable because I’ve never had a fitness routine before.

I’ve started out using the chest press, shoulder press, leg press, ab crunch and pulldown and as you go along the Fitlinxx Tracker is counting reps and prompting you to increase weight to push yourself to meet new goals.

It’s only been a short time but I have found that I’m pushing myself more with each visit and I’ve already gone from 2 to 3 workout’s a week because I enjoy it so much!
