New Name For Barrie Water Front Park
The Name Honors A Man Who Did A Great Deal In The City
Bayview Park is getting a new name. On Monday Mayor Jeff Lehman will officiate a ceremony to change the name to The Sam Cancilla Park. The renaming is being done to recognize the former Barrie Alderman and owner of Cancilla’s Fruit and Vegetable Market. The name unveiling will happen at the park, off Dunlop St on Monday the 16th at 2 in the afternoon.
