Newmarket Fire Officials Blame Barbeque For Garage Fire
Detached Garage and Car Damaged By Fire
A BBQ is being blamed for a garage fire in Newmarket. Fire Services rushed out to a Joseph Street address shortly before 11:00 Wednesday night, to find heavy smoke coming from the detached garage. A vehicle was inside at the time, and heavily damage in the fire. Authorities say a charcoal barbeque was used earlier in the evening, and placed back in the garage, right next to a few combustible items.
