North Simcoe Muskoka LHIN Providing $5mil in Regional Funding

Home Healthcare Providers Expected To Benefit the Most

Some just announced health care money is expected to help home healthcare providers. The North Simcoe Muskoka Local Health Integration Network says it is investing five million dollars in the region, with the bulk of that coin going towards caregivers who provide for individuals at home. Those who look after adults at end-of-life, medically complex children, or frail seniors. The funding is through the health integration network, by way of an Ontario funding commitment made in 2015. The North Simcoe Muskoka LHIN has provided a breakdown of where that money is going, available here.
