Old Man winter is back and he is taking over the roads!
Police caution that winter driving is not the same as in summer
It appears the warm weather has left the area for another year… Police would like to remind drivers to take care when heading out on area roads and drive according to the weather. As the temperatures drop, any moisture on the roads will freeze, causing slick driving conditions. South Simcoe Police say over a 24 hour period they were called out to 15 collisions in the area. Most were minor and considered fender benders but in a handful of cases people were taken to hospital with injuries.
