Ontario Gets New Licence Plates!

As of February 1st, the province began to roll out the plates for drivers.

The new plates are blue and includes a trillium and the slogan “A Place to Grow.”  The new plates are said to save residences money in the long run as they will last longer.

However; some are finding a fault with the newly designed licence plates; they are plastic!

Another person pointing out that it looks like a Q-Tip Box…

Some say that the number and letters look off centred.

Another reason the Ford Government wanted to change the plate was because of the size, saying that our current white plates aren’t the same size as the North American Standard.

The last time the province redesigned the plates was in 1982.
