If you’ve driven up Highway 11 recently, you’ve probably noticed all the giant Blue Jay Flags!

For local baseball fans who lived and died with the Blue Jays during their back-to-back World Series championship runs in 1992 and 1993, it is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see one of those teams’ living legends!

SATURDAY, JULY 9TH, Toronto Blue Jays legend and Baseball Hall-of-Famer Roberto Alomar will be in Orillia for an autograph session as part of the annual celebration of baseball.

It’s the fourth annual Baseball Day in Orillia, a day to celebrate everything Baseball and they scored BIG with Roberto Alomar scheduled to be a Kitchener Park Diamond between 1:30p and 2:30p!

The celebration of baseball, a fundraiser for the Orillia Sport Council, and will feature kids’ games, a showcase of rep baseball, a slo-pitch marathon, a home-run derby and involve more than 200 local players of all ages and abilities.

Baseball Day in Orillia is organized by the Orillia Sport Council in partnership with Orillia Legion Minor Baseball and the Orillia Slo-Pitch League. Many local businesses have stepped up to the plate to help sponsor the event.
