Oro Medonte House Fire Under Investigation

Investigators say a fire in Oro Medonte is not considered suspicious, while they’re still looking for the cause. Emergency crews rushed to the blaze on Huronwoods Drive near Horseshoe Valley Rd. Monday afternoon, but weren’t able to save the structure. Oro’s Fire Chief Hugh Murray tells us the fire did about $400,000 in damage, while there were no injuries reported. The same home was damaged by an electrical fire in 2009, repairs had since been made.
