Queen’s Park Cutting Eco Fees

Have you bought a TV lately then got a bit of a shock when the cashier gave to you total? Lots of us forget to factor in that Eco-Fee when making our electronic purchases, but soon we may not have to worry about it at all. The provincial government say they’re going to do away with the fee by introducing sweeping new legislation that even eliminates aspects of waste diversion, in a move the Environment and Climate Change Minister says will force manufacturers to not only design longer lasting products, but use less packaging to ship the stuff.
