Paramedics Hurt In Head-On Crash In Innisfil
Woman had to be extricated from her vehicle
South Simcoe Police say weather and speed were likely factors in a head-on crash Tuesday night on Yonge Street between Innisfil Beach Road and the 7th Line. Paramedics were responding to an emergency call, with lights and siren activated, when the crash occurred around 9:30. The two paramedics and a student in the ambulance tended to the female victim until another crew arrived. The woman had to beextricated from her vehicle by Innisfil firefighters. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The investigation continues.
