Canada day Celebrations July 1st, in the town of Penetanguishene. Come and celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary with PCMA’s All Things Wheels parade July 1st starting 10:00am at Parc Rotary Wendat Park, Penetanguishene. Dress up in your best Canada 150th theme for a chance to win a prize, registration is free for ages 4 and up and comes with a food voucher
Join the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum for Canada celebrations, Saturday, July 1st, 2017 from 11:00am-6:00pm. Children’s activities including bouncy play centres, face painting and much more. Featuring live music from “Passport” and “La Famille Lefaive”, There will be a BBQ and Beer tent for refreshments. Cannon fire and free cupcakes will take place at approx. 2:00pm.
To celebrate Canada’s rich culture, the North Simcoe Canada 150 Mural project will be revealing Penetanguishene’s mural July 1st, 2017 at 1:30pm in the Main entrance of Parc Rotary Champlain Wendat Park. Come out and enjoy this piece of history with an interactive component that links the viewers to all of the murals in Simcoe County.
End the day at Parc Rotary Champlain Wendat Park for Live music at the amphitheatre, with music from
6:00pm-7:30pm: “The Remedy Band”
8:00pm-9:45pm: “Souled Out Band”
And a firework display at Dusk
