Penetanguishene Officer Facing Obstructing Justice Charge

A 27-year veteran of the Ontario Provincial Police has been charged, after an investigation by their Professional Standards Bureau. The 50-year-old police officer with the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment was off duty at the time of the alleged offense, while OPP Headquarters say they can’t elaborate on what the charge is pertaining to until after the Penetanguishene man goes to court on July 21st.
