Scams are everywhere. Where you are contacted by phone or email police have been warning the public to be vigilant about not falling victim to these fraudsters. They say while it is unfortunate you are receiving these requests for money, they only want to hear from you if you become a victim your self. After a quick tally police have counted upwards of 100 calls a day. And those are just to inform the authorities that people have received the call. It’s the step that involves handing over cash that worries the Police.
