Police say they are receiving calls daily about different frauds.

Most recently, there have been reports of a CRA scam, where fraudsters try to intimidate and scare people into giving money after threats of criminal charges.

There is also an “Emergency Scam” on the rise where victims are called and told that a family member is in an emergency and needs cash to get out of jail or have bail posted.
