Potato Truck Among Vehicles Stolen In Alliston, Thornton
Police Say Suspect Exchanged Stolen Potato Truck For Stolen Sedan
A New Tecumseth man is up on charges in connection to the theft of a rather unique vehicle. Nottawasaga OPP say a guy stole a potato truck from Alliston. Not only that, but they say it was the second vehicle he tried. The first potato truck was allegedly sufficiently damaged before he moved onto the second, and police say the potato truck was ditched in Thornton, in favour of a stolen Nissan Sentra instead. Officers got to task, tracking down both the stolen Nissan and the suspect. A 27-year-old man is facing a slew of charges.
