Report Collisions To Police

Police would like to remind drivers that they must report all collisions if there are injuries or damage is thought to be more than 2-thousand dollars. This reminder comes after OPP were notified of a car with extensive damage, left abandoned in a ditch in the township of Southgate. An investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle lost control of the car while making a turn. The driver was injured and left the scene of the accident without contacting authorities. Police say failing to report an accident can result in charges.
