This creepy clown craze has caused our favourite clown Ronald McDonald to keep a low profile for while!
The fast food giant said Tuesday that it is being “thoughtful in respect to Ronald McDonald’s participation in community events” as a result of the “current climate around clown sightings in communities.” The decision comes after a rash of pranks around Canada and the U.S. that have involved eerie clown sightings. The reports have prompted police in some areas to respond.
One creepy clown was seen in Detroit hanging off the back of a city bus… And in Bolton last Friday, a creepy clown sighting cause a school to bring in all children early from recess until police cleared the area around the school.
