He was Bond. James Bond. And now he’s gone

Sir Sean Connery died in his sleep late Friday night at the age of 90. The Oscar-winning actor was Hollywood’s original 007 and starred in six of the James Bond franchise films.

Beyond Bond, he starred in many other movies throughout his decades-long career, including “Highlander,” “The Untouchables,” “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,” “The Rock,” and “Finding Forrester.”

In 1989, at the age of 59, he was named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive.”
