Shots Fired In Barrie

Police believe it was targetted

A 44 year old Barrie man was shot in the arm Friday night while visiting a friend on Sanford Street. During his visit, four men showed up at the door – only one was expected – in what police believe was a drug deal. An altercation ensued, during which a shot was fired. The victim was treated at RVH for non-life threatening injuries. Police have released no further details.
