Simcoe County Is Trash Talking And They Want You To Join In

Public Meeting To Discuss Waste Management Strategy

The county wants you to weigh in on their new Waste Management Strategy. There’s a few options in the strategy that would govern how garbage is collected over the next five years, including a pay as you throw garbage tagging system, bi-weekly collection, and expansion of green bin programs. The meetings will be held at the Simcoe County Museum, from 2 – 4pm today, then from 6 – 8pm, same times for the second round of meetings on the 17th. If you can’t make either date, the County will take residents’ input through a live webinar at  www.simcoe.ca/wastestrategy.
