Some Grocery Stores To Sell Beer In Time For The Holidays

60 retailers will share the Christmas 'Spirit'

You’ll be able to buy beer in grocery stores by Christmas. The Ontario Government said this morning they’re now taking applications from grocery stores across the province interested in carrying beer. Premier Kathleen Wynne said today they’ll be announcing in December which 60 retailers will be selling beer. By May, about 150 stores will sell the suds, while the province hopes to boost that number to 450 within three years.
