South Simcoe Police Snowmobile Crackdown
One Charge Laid After Snowmobile Trail Blitz
South Simcoe Police are pleased with the results of a recent snowmobile blitz. They were out on patrol on the trails around south Simcoe yesterday, and say they stopped 17 snow machines, and of those, only one charge laid. A guy allegedly let his 15-year-old boy steer the sled, and was given a ticket for his troubles. Police say they’re happy to report most snowmobilers out on the trails were abiding by the rules.
