SPCA Social Media Call For Help Answered In No Time
Barrie Fire Service Steps Up To Help With Flag Problem
It’s the little things that make a community what it is. Perfect example: the Barrie SPCA put a call out on Twitter for help in replacing the flag in the front of the Patterson Road facility. The other one had become tangled and torn around the pole and they didn’t have a ladder tall enough to get up there.

Do you know who does have a ladder that high? The Barrie Fire Service.
@OSPCA_Barrie Of course, we will help. Calling you now. — Barrie Fire (@Barrie_Fire) November 10, 2016
Within minutes they reached out to the animal shelter, and had the flag replaced in no time. It wasn’t a cat out of a tree, but it’ll do.
