Spooky, Scary, Spine-Tingling; Some Local Events Have It All

A sampling of some Family-Friendly Hallowe'en Events in the Region

Trick or Treat! All this week, we will be taking a look at some local Hallowe’en activities happening across the County.

We wrap up our spooky tour of regional events by talking to Marc Seguin with the Town of Innisfil, one of the organizing forces behind the community’s Spooktacular. Brett Glover sat down with Marc in studio to learn more.

More information can be found on the Town of Innisfil website.

Friday, our tour of Spooky events took us back to Barrie. Dunnett Drive in Barrie to be specific, where Dan Blakely visited a frightening mainstay in support of a good cause, Dunnett’s Dark Lair created by homeowner Chris Arnott

Check out a sampling of what to expect at the Dunnett’s Dark Lair website.

Thursday, we checked out Pumpkinferno in Penetanguishene. Huronia Historical Parks’ Gary Molnar helped get the event off the ground and told Brett Glover all about it.

More information can be found at the Discovery Harbour website.

Wednesday, we were in Orillia by phone, so Brett Glover could talk to Christine Mitchell with the City of Orillia about their Kids Halloween Bash this weekend.

More information can be found on the City of Orillia website.

Tuesday, we visited the Simcoe County Museum by phone so Brett Glover could chat with Meredith King to learn more about their event An Evening of Halloween.

For more information, visit the Simcoe County Museum website.

Monday, we took a peek at Barrie’s Ghost Bus Tours. Brett Glover sat down with the City of Barrie’s Alex Malmsten to learn more.
