Three Police Departments Join Up To End Rash of Break And Enters
A joint effort by local police has shut down a break and enter spree. Huronia West and Barrie OPP detachments teamed up with the Barrie Police Service to arrest two men, and are looking for a third, after police say they stole numerous vehicles around Springwater township and used them as getaway vehicles for several break and enters. Police say it happened between September and November, and now an 18- and 23-year-old man are facing a combined 32 charges. More are expected when police catch their third suspect.
