Former PM Resigning As MP
A former Prime Minister is hanging up his hat. MP Stephen Harper tweeted out a video this morning, announcing that he’d be stepping down from his roll as MP for Calgary Heritage. In the video, he highlighted some of his proudest moments as PM, including navigating Canada through the 2008 recession. Harper resigned as Conservative Party leader in October, after losing the election to the Trudeau Liberal Party.
