Stolen Card Used To Purchase Utility Vehicle

Suspect Spoke With Eastern European Accent

eastern-european-suspectBarrie Police are trying to find a guy they say used a stolen credit card to pick up a new toy. Back on August 8th, investigators say a man bought a side-by-side Polaris UTV and asked that it be delivered first to Lake Joseph, later changing it to North York. Police say the buyer was there for the delivery, having the UTV offloaded to a moving van by four young men. The Polaris dealership didn’t know the credit card used was stolen until the card’s company came knocking. The suspect is described as:

  • male
  • white
  • approx. 60 years of age
  • medium build
  • short grey hair
  • wears glasses
