Stolen Vehicles Set Ablaze in Barrie
Police Aren't Sure if Pair of Vehicle Fires Are Connected
A pair of stolen vehicles have been recovered… albeit a little more charred than when they went missing. Barrie Fire were called to a Salem Road address last night, arriving on scene to find a car fully engulfed in flame. Police say it was stolen from a Barrie home. Around 2:30 this morning, another report of a car fire, this one in a Dunlop St. convenience store parking lot, also involving a stolen vehicle. Barrie Police say they have no indication the two incidences are connected, but ask anyone with info to come forward.
